This was our first visit and it was hands down awesome. Service was quick from seating, order taking and receiving our items. I ordered the full biscuits and gravy with potatoes and the hubby had the kitchen sink. We weren't expecting the portions to be so huge! Definitely recommend
Very good heavy breakfast I ate around 10am I was full until 18:00 very big filling portions !!
Arrived at this breakfast spot at 10:30 am, it was really busy, I was a part of a party of three, we were seated after checking in only about 67 minutes! The service was prompt and kind, the food took maybe 1520 minutes to be brought to our table, for a party of three in an exceptionally packed diner, not bad at all! The food was delicious, I absolutely love their sticky biscuit! 10/10, would definitely recommend again, probably one of the best breakfast places in all of KC!
Great place for a big party. Servers were very attentive and the food was hot and fresh. The French fries are nice and crisp. They also offer breakfast potatoes as an option. The pancakes fill up the plate; a big plate. The amount of food for the price is right on point. Very relaxed atmosphere inside which was perfect for our casual attire. Breakfast and lunch are served all the time.
This is our first time at this location. Our food was good. Pricey, but anywhere is pricey. Oatmeal with cranberries n pecans and marble rye toast was 9.99. It was good though. My husband said the omelette was good. The grits were thick but he asked for hot water, put a little in, and Delicious. The staff are friendly, especially our server Kevin (Awesome!!!) Would definitely come again to this location.
I had the pleasure of dining at Big Biscuit, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience that left a lasting impression. From the moment we stepped in, the rustic charm of the restaurant's environment transported us to a cozy retreat that felt like a hidden gem. Now, let's talk about the food – it was an absolute delight. The star of the show, as expected, were their biscuits. These golden-brown, flaky wonders practically melted in our mouths. Whether paired with jam, gravy, or just a pat of butter, each bite was a heavenly experience. But the menu didn't stop at biscuits; it was a parade of comfort food that catered to every palate. From savory omelets to mouthwatering pancakes, the variety was impressive, and the flavors were spot-on. Adding to the ambiance was the warm and inviting rustic decor. The wooden furnishings, earthy tones, and cozy lighting created an atmosphere that was both nostalgic and welcoming. It felt like dining at a friend's countryside cabin – a much-needed escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. However, what truly elevated our experience was our waitress, Addison. Her friendly demeanor, attention to detail, and genuine enthusiasm for making our meal memorable made a significant difference. She was not just a server; she was like a culinary guide, offering recommendations and ensuring that every aspect of our dining experience was impeccable. In conclusion, Big Biscuit not only served delicious food in a rustic setting but also provided top-notch service through individuals like Addison. It's a place where you can indulge in comfort food while being enveloped in a warm and charming environment. If you're seeking a memorable dining experience that combines exceptional flavors, a cozy ambiance, and attentive service, Big Biscuit should definitely be on your list.
We came in with a large group. Someone in our group had called ahead, but the time was off and they accommodated us quickly. The service was fast and the food came out quickly. Everything was delicious. Our server was lovely!
We were greeted and sat quickly, our waiter (Brian) was friendly and helped us decide what to order. My brioche French toast was great, the hash browns and sausage were good and the eggs were decent. Overall I was definitely happy with the food. The homemade lemonade was good as well. You get a nice amount of food for your money.
